With your permission, Computers at a Glance can access your computer to repair technical problems. Remote assistance works via your Internet connection, so your computer must be stable enough to access the Internet. You simply download a small file and connect to our secure network. From that point We are able to see exactly what you see on your computer, and we are able to solve your problems as if we were in the same room.
How much does it cost?
Computers at a Glance charges a $5.00 connection fee, and $.075 per minute. You will be charged by the minute not hour saving you money. Most issues are resolved in under 30 minutes. We have chosen Paypal to handle the credit card processing. Paypal is 100% secure with no account needed. Paypal accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
Is it safe?
Rest assured that your data is safe and that our remote assistance session is safe from hackers. The connection is secured using 128 bit SSL encryption (same security as your banking) and there are no configuration changes made to your computer. We do not collect any personal information from your computer maintaining your full privacy.
Is there any software to install?
No. You simply download a small remote viewer application from our website, which allows us to connect to your computer. Once your support session has ended, the remote viewer is permanently removed. No software is installed to your computer during the process.

If Computers at a Glance cannot solve the issue you're experiencing, then you do not pay. It is as simple as that.
How long does it take?
It depends on the issue. Most sessions are resolved in under 30 minutes. While some issues taking as few as 2-3 minutes to resolve.
Tips to make your Remote Session more productive
During a remote session it is important to understand a few details. We will be using our mouse and keyboard to control the action on your screen. It is important to note that during this time no movement of the keyboard or mouse is done on your end. The session are more productive while the customer is on the phone with the Technician. If this is not possible, then communication can occur via instant chat built into our program. The first time you use remote support you will be asked to enter your name, email, and phone number, this is for billing purpose only no information will be stored on our server.
